Spinach and Strawberry Salad with Feta and Pecans: A Sweet and Savory Delight | The Food Diaries



 Hello, fellow foodies!

Welcome back to my Summer Salad Series! Today, I am super excited to share with you a refreshing and flavorful Spinach and Strawberry Salad with Feta and Pecans—hot summer days call for it.






Ingredients:

    •  4 cups fresh spinach leaves
    •  2 cups sliced strawberries
    •  1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
    •  1/4 cup chopped pecans
    •  2 tbsp olive oil
    •  1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    •  Salt and pepper, to taste



Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine the spinach and strawberries.

2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

3. Pour the dressing over the spinach mixture and toss to coat.

4. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese and chopped pecans on top.

5. Serve immediately and enjoy!




Tips and Variations:

  • Add a little protein with grilled chicken or salmon.
  • Use goat cheese or parmesan in place of feta cheese.

Use it to top a big juicy burger or sandwich.
